The pressure test begins

After I successfully ruined all of Sian’s ideas for my Christmas present (by buying the last Cluedo game in Sydney for someone else... then planning to return it... then deciding to keep it for myself), she bought a recipe book for me to write in my recipes.

I started collecting favourites from my friends and family and then decided I might make myself a challenge. It began out as a fun little new year’s resolution, but as people started to give me recipes, they wanted to hear about how it was going and hear my stories.

So at the risk of being another wanker with a blog – I’ve decided to bite the bullet and do it. To those of you who convinced me to do this, don’t be disappointed when you realise that I am not Sian and you won’t be simply be getting a double dose of The Sian Show! Hopefully it will be slightly interesting though and you’ll get to see me challenge your recipes!

The Task:

  • Learn to cook better
  • Gain cooking confidence
  • Get my family and friends’ favourite recipes.
  • To take myself from a coach potato to a potato baker

The Rules:

  • Cook one new recipe a week – any other cooking is a bonus.
  • ‘Showcase’ new skills to a guest once a month – and gain a review.
  • Keep a record of cooking experiences and new recipes.

  1. I made the quiche recipe that I gave you and realised that I don't even follow the recipe.
    Good luck with your project.
I look forward to my invite.
